Weekly Fundamentals – Oil Price Range-bounded as Economic Outlook Mixed
Base metals outperformed energies and precious metals last week as well as in July as driveb by short-covering, strong corporate earnings in the US and China, and the Chinese government’s pledge to keep monetary policy ‘moderately loose’. Crude oil and fuels changed little last week as data released depicted an uncertain outlook.
