At the highly-anticipated speech outlining the blueprint for the UK to leave the EU, May for first time announce that the Kingdom would leave Europe’s single market so as to control EU immigration. Yet, she refrained from setting clear conditions for immigration, jurisdiction and budget issues. More importantly, May also committed to placing a final Brexit deal to a vote in both houses of the parliament.
