Although silver's selloff yesterday helped the gold\/silver ratio recover to 33 (from 32 on Monday), it has stayed at the lowest level in 28 years. A reason for elevated silver price was strong physical demand, especially from emerging markets. India may double its silver purchases to 1500 tons this year.
