Financial markets recovered after the sharp fall yesterday but sentiment remained fragile. China's PMI improved in December but stayed in the contractionary territory. The situation was similar in the Eurozone. The SNB left the policy rate and the currency target unchanged but warned of intervention if demand for the country's exports decline sharply. The central bank also warned of great uncertainty in the the 17-nation Eurozone.<\/p>\n
