Experienced traders at Simplex must possess strong technical, quantitative, analytical and communication skills. Additionally, they must thrive under pressure, think quickly to execute trades using proprietary software and contribute to ongoing program and strategy development. <\/p>\n

Associates will:<\/p>\n

* Execute trades using proprietary software
* Understand and manage portfolio risk
* Adjust trading strategies based on market conditions
* Participate in team-based strategy development
* Contribute to volatility modeling
* Contribute to software programming and development
* Perform other duties as requested<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n

Successful candidates will possess the following qualities:<\/p>\n

* A bachelor\u2019s degree in mathematics, financial engineering or a similarly technical field with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (please include GPA on resume)
* 2-5 years of experience developing math and strategy around making markets
* Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive
* High level of computer literacy
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship<\/p>\n
