Media Trader - Financial Trading - Business Analytics\/Strategic Consultant<\/p>\n

If you are a Media Trading with Financial Trading and Business Analytics experience, please read on!<\/p>\n

What you need for this position:<\/p>\n

- MUST be a team player, willing to learn new skills, and apply them daily
- Approximately 5 years in business analytics\/business strategy
- Have a proven track record in applying mathematical\/analytical approaches to solving business problems.
- A background in finance, economics, analytically driven strategic marketing, pricing strategy, or strategic analysis will round out the ideal candidate's technical skills with practical experience.
- Must have the ability to creatively structure and executive practical analytics, as well as partner and influence across the organization to implement solutions.
- Experienced in building and applying statistical models in a business strategy environment
- Experience in market research and analysis
- Bachelor degree in business\/economics\/mathematics or another analytical field
- Proficient in SQL<\/p>\n

Preferred Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n

- Masters degree in business\/economics\/mathematics or another analytical field
- Econometric modeling experience (particularly applied econometrics)
- Consulting or consultative selling experience
- Previous management experience
- Product strategy experience
- Expert user of at least one Business Intelligence software tool. SAS, SPSS, Clementine, Spotfire, Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.<\/p>\n

What you'll be doing:<\/p>\n

- Take the lead in developing and deploying insights that enable our organization to optimize profit while staying aligned with its strategic goals.
- Much like a stock trader, the Media Trader will take the day to day lead in ensuring that pricing, inventory acquisition, and ad spend investments are aligned to optimize yield.
- The Media Trader will also be a conduit between the Trading Desk, Ad Operations and the Product Development team to ensure that product and pricing strategy are aligned.<\/p>\n
