Position<\/p>\n

Alliance Bernstein is expanding its capacity in the municipal bond market and we are looking for an Assistant Vice President of Municipal Trading. Candidate should be an experienced municipal bond trader with experience in trading for Seperately Managed Accounts (\u201cSMA\u201d) using the APL interface.
- Work with portfolio managers and research analysts to structure SMA portfolios
# Trade SMA portfolios
# Assist other traders in trading of general market municipals
# Contribute to overall portfolio construction
# Explore electronic trading and systems improvements to enhance trading efficiency<\/p>\n

Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have between 3-5 years of experience trading municipal bonds in an SMA environment and should have the following skills:
# Ability to work independently but also debate trade ideas in a group setting
# Experience in identifying relative value
# Ability to maintain relationships with sell-side traders and salespeople<\/p>\n
