My name is Jared Dickinson and I am a Senior Recruiter with Robert Half Technology here in San Francisco. Our client is a Financial firm and I am currently hiring for a Trading Support Specialist. In this role, you will be working in a fast pace, high pressure environment with cutting edge technology. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Trading System Associate is responsible for the day-to-day support of the firms core Trade Order Management System which includes responding to unexpected system outages\/urgent needs during trading hours, and serving as a liaison to IS and technical service groups. Other major duties include data reporting and analysis projects, administrative support, and designing\/testing of Business Continuity Plans (BCP). <\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements<\/span> <\/span>Experience working in Financial environments is a must. Experience with broker\/dealer trading systems and applications, as well as back-office operations preffered <\/span>
Strong systems, investigative and problem solving skills; Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and appropriate resolutions <\/span>
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects <\/span>
Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to clearly define projects, objectives, goals, schedules and assignments <\/span>
Good organization skills with strong attention to detail <\/span>
Proficiency in MS Office especially with Excel <\/span>
Knowledge of VBA and other scripting languages <\/span>
Data analysis skills; SQL skills preferred <\/span>
High-level understanding of networking technology including Microsoft server environments <\/span>
Ability to work effectively with business personnel at all levels as well as with outside vendors and contractors <\/span>
Must exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under a minimum of supervision; proactive and takes initiative <\/span>
Require strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines. <\/span>
Self-motivated with strong work ethic, honesty and integrity <\/span><\/p>\n
