MSSB Capital Markets is a global leader in Fixed Income products, providing individuals, corporations and governments around the world with a wide range of services. Within the division, people perform the functions of sales, trading, research, structuring, and finance. <\/p>\n

\u2022 Collaborate with the businesses - Sales, Trading, Strategy and Municipal Finance. This fast-paced and intense environment requires an
\u2022 Aptitude for analyzing and interpreting complex information from multiple sources in a timely manner.<\/p>\n

Skills Required:<\/b>
Experience
\u2022 Minimum of 2 years prior experience within a Tax Exempt Fixed Income Product
\u2022 Compelling interest in the financial markets
\u2022 Excellent credit and analytical skills required
\u2022 BA\/BS degree
\u2022 Minimum GPA: 3.3
\u2022 Registration licenses required (e.g., Series 7, 63 securities licenses required or to be obtained within 90 days of employment)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Outstanding attention to detail, highly organized, and extremely proactive
\u2022 Must be a service oriented, team-player eager to assist colleagues and members of the department at all levels
\u2022 Self-motivated, innovative, hard working individual, who can handle changing priorities and multiple tasks in a timely fashion
\u2022 Technology friendly with the ability to understand and enhance existing systems
\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\u2022 Diligent and meticulous individual with the ability to \u201cthink outside the box\u201d
\u2022 Must be service oriented and a team player with the ability to work outside ones comfort zone
\u2022 Strong time management\/prioritization skills and solid judgment
\u2022 Working knowledge of Bloomberg, and familiarity with the ratings agencies<\/p>\n
