Well established growing corporation is seeking a Database Administrator. The primary responsibilities are: <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Support IT operations for Oracle applications and Oracle databases <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Support IT development team with ongoing projects <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and Remote DBA's to ensure application \/ database performance and reliability. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Contribute to the ongoing development of technology and production processes. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Regular communication to IT management concerning project's status, potential risks, concerns, problems, and needs. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology and make recommendations for future deployment. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Support mission critical systems in a 24X7 environment. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Plan and implement application \/ database patches\/upgrades as needed. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Oracle Remote DBA task assignment and follow-up <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Regular communication to CIO and senior IT management concerning project's status, potential risks, concerns, problems, and needs. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology and make recommendations for future deployment. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. <\/span><\/span>
\u2022Performs other related duties as assigned. <\/span><\/span>
