Total crude oil and petroleum products stocks plunged -4.67 mmb to 1134 mmb in the week ended October 8. Inventory levels fell across the board from crude oil to distillate. Crude oil inventory slipped -0.42mmb to 360.53 mmb as draws in the East Coast and the West Coast were only partly offset by rises in the Midwest, the Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain. Cushing stock changed little. Utilization rate fell further to 81.9%, the lowest level since March 2010.
