Marker Relieves but Risks Remain

Market sentiment recovered modestly in late US session as it's increasingly likely that Ireland will apply for funding from the EU and the IMF. A number of Fed official spoke, supporting implementation of the $600B asset-purchase program. Weaker-than-expected CPI data also indicated the need for further easing. Earlier in the day, risk appetite was weighed down, mainly by fears of China's tightening. Investors speculated a rate hike will be announced as soon as in coming months. The commodity sector got hammered with the WTI crude oil price plummeted to a 1-month low of 80.06 before settling at 80.44.
