Crude oil rallied as risk appetite improved markedly on ECB’s extension of liquidity supply and some encouraging US data. The benchmark contract for WTI crude oil jumped to 88.13, the highest level since November 11, before settling at 88, up +1.44%. Fuel prices also soared with heating oil rising to a 2-year high of 2.46 and gasoline to a 7-motnh high of 2.36.
