Crude Inventory Climbed More than Expected

Total crude oil and petroleum products stocks soared +7.52 mmb to 1041.0 mmb in the week ended April 29. Crude stockpile jumped +3.42 mmb to 366.55 mmb during the week with Gulf Coast reporting the biggest stock-build. Cushing stocks rose for the first time in 3 weeks, by +0.10 mmb to 40.49 mmb. Utilization rate climbed +0.1% to 82.8%.
