Financial Markets Slipped on Fiscal Cliff Deadlock

The lack of progress in reaching a deal to resolve the fiscal cliff sent financial markets lower. Although President Barack Obama had another talk with House of Speaker John Boehner, the gap between the 2 parties remained wide. In the Eurozone, Greek debt yields lowered as Eurogroup Chairman Juncker stated that "Money will be flowing to Greece as early as next week".
