Crude Inventory Climbed Less than Expected

The DOE/EIA reported that total crude oil and petroleum products stocks added +0.09 mmb to 1103.30 mmb in the week ended February 1. Crude stockpile increased +2.62 mmb to 371.69 mmb as inventory soared 3.43 mmb in PADD III. Cushing stock slipped +0.32 mmb to 51.36 mmb. Utilization rate was down -0.8% to 84.2%.
