Chinese GDP Grew Less than Expected

Risk-off sentiment was carried on in Asian session Monday after disappointing US data released last week. China released weaker than expected GDP growth in 1Q13. This raised concerns that recovery the world’s second largest economy might have lost momentum. Asian shares slipped with the MSCI Asia Pacific index losing more than -0.5% in the morning session.
