Weekly Fundamentals- Oil Strengthened as Geopolitical Tensions Coincided with Supply Disruptions

Crude oil prices remained firmed last week. Concerns over the US-led attack against Syria combined with supply disruption in Libya and Nigeria lifted oil prices. The WTI crude contract for October delivery soared +2.7% while the equivalent Brent crude added +1.9% during the week.
