Japan Unveiled Stimulus Plan Worth of 5 Trillion Yen to Counter VAT Hike

Although Japan’s Tankan survey came in much stronger than expected, concerns over the country’s recovery and a sustainable escape from deflation remained. The government, led by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, announced a stimulus plan worth of 5 trillion yen to booth the country’s growth.
