Wall Street was weighed down as the FOMC meeting approaches. Increasing speculations that the Fed would begin tapering in as soon as this month, together with released of encouraging economic data, sent the DJIA and the S&P 500 indices lower by -0.06% and -0.31% respectively. In the commodity sector, crude oil prices also softened amid tapering fears.
