Crude oil prices were pressured as Iran and Iraq said that they would increase exports and requested other OPEC members to accommodate by cutting output. The front-month contract for WTI crude oil dropped -0.22% while the Brent crude contract fell -1.29% during the day. Gold stayed largely unchanged, closing at 1240.2, as the US dollar struggled to rise further amid mixed economic data.
