Sentiment Improved as US Data Glittered
US markets strengthened on upbeat economic data. Durable goods orders surprisingly jumped +0.8% while the CaseShiller home prices almost doubled the expected past of growth. The growth in home price index was also firm. Wall Street soared with the S&P rising to a record high of 1912.3 before ending the day at 1911.9 (up +0.60%), the 12th closing high hit so far this year. DJIA also gained +0.42% during the day.
