The 2 key events, the ECB’s large stimulus package and the US’ employment report for May, sent commodities to nowhere last week. The ECB, through rate cuts, targeted long-term refinancing operations (TLTRO) and extensions of for the main refinancing operations (MRO), intended to boost growth in the real economy through lowering banks’ funding costs.
