ECB Expected to Stand on Sideline while US Payrolls to Soar
We have a busy calendar today. While it is widely expected that the ECB would stand on the sideline in July, the market should expect President Draghi to provide more details on the design and expected impact of the measures announced in the June meeting as well as the preparatory work on small scale asset purchases (ABS). The US employment report for June would be released today, a day earlier than usual as tomorrow would be holiday.
