Yellen Affirmed Accommodative Policy Appropriate Despite Risk of Early Rate Hike

Banking fear in Portugal re-emerged. Yet, this was overshadowed by events in the US. Fed Chairman Janet Yellen indicated that that accommodative monetary policy would remain appropriate for a considerable period while hinted the possibility of an early tightening.
