Following an unexpected rebound in China’s PMI and a disappointing Eurozone PMI, the index for the US stayed flat at 57.9 in September. The new orders index remained firm at 60.5 while the employment index gained +2 points to 56.6. Commodities firmed a tad with the front-month WTI crude contract adding +0.76% and the Brent crude contract largely unchanged at 96.85.
