Despite the retreat from 2015 high on Friday, crude oil still recorded lucrative gains on weekly basis on lower US oil production, less-than-expected increase in US inventory and ongoing conflict in Yemen. North Dakota, a key region for US shale oil boom, saw decline in oil production for the 2nd consecutive month in February.
