Precious metals slumped on a stronger US dollar. Gold struggled near 4-month lows with the benchmark Comex contract losing -1.75% at close. Safe haven demands diminished as Greece agreed to present another proposal to the Eurogroup. Iran and the Western powers also agreed to talk after the July 7 deadline. Silver got hammered with the benchmark Comex contract slumping -4.94%.
