Firm Sentiment Carried On after Strong US Inflation
LanoraGraysonMarket sentiment remained firm in Asia Monday, following a healthy US inflation report for June. Headline CPI rose to +0.1% y/y in June, following a flat reading in May. Core CPI also accelerated to +1.8% y/y in June from +1.7% a month ago. Energy prices rose +1.7% m/m and food prices were up +0.3% m/m, after being flat or declining for the past 3 months.
