The front–month WTI contract rose +1.69% to 48.79 whilst the Brent contract gained for the first time in 6 days, adding +0.15%, to 53.38. Gold dropped as US dollar strengthened. The benchmark Comex contract fell for a second day, down -0.33 to 1092.7.
