Sentiment in Asia Monday was modestly soft, as last Friday’s data shows that US inflation failed to accelerate. Core PCE deflator rose +0.1% m/m in September, down from consensus of +0.2%. From a year ago, the index rose +1.3%. The employment cost index rose +0.6% q/q in 3Q15, leaving annual growth at +2%.
