Falling -11.21%, Nymex natural gas recorded the biggest weekly decline so far this year. Despite a third consecutive weekly drop, US gas storage remained above the upper range of the 5-year average. The DOE/EIA reported that gas storage fell -34 bcf to 3 846 bcf in the week ended December 11. Stocks were +541 bcf higher than the same period last year and +322 bcf above the 5-year average of 3 524 bcf.
