Brent Crude Oil Jumped to 5-Week High

Crude oil prices extended recent strength, rallying to the highest level in 5 weeks on Monday. The front-month Brent crude contract soared to a 5-wwk high of 48.54 before ending the day at 48.35, up +2.94%. The Brent contract have jumped +9.5% over the past 3 trading days. The front-month WTI crude contract rose to as high as 45.93 before settling at 45.74, up +2.81%.
