China’s CPI Accelerated, PPI Eased on Slowing Commodity Prices

Crude oil prices dropped as strength in US dollar weighed on the commodities. API's report of huge US inventory draw, however, contained the losses. The front-month WTI crude oil contract initially fell to as low as 45.53 before ending the day at 45.88, down -1.19%. The Brent contract was down -1.24% for the day. Precious metal s fell across the board on heightened hopes of Fed funds rate hike in June.
