We are seeking a Portfolio Trader for our downtown Harrisburg, PA location. This investment professional will work on our trading desk and be involved in researching investment opportunities and executing trades under the guidance of senior portfolio managers. The portfolios will typically consist of government securities, money markets and short term corporate securities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Market research,
- Searching for investment opportunities,
- Executing and processing trades,
- Using Bloomberg and other electronic trading platforms,
- Providing market and portfolio data to client support staff,
- Preparation of portfolio performance reports.
Requirements
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- A 4-year college degree with a strong academic background (GPA 3.4+),
- Work experience in a related investment or financial field,
- Strong quantitative skills,
- A highly organized and accurate work style, and
- The ability to work in fast-paced, high pressure environment.
