Oil Erased Earlier Gains as Crude Inventory Surged. Gasoline Stockpile Unexpectedly Increased
US crude oil inventory rose +2.93 mmb to 354.19 mmb in the week ended March 26. The stock build exceeded both market consensus and API's estimates. Gasoline stockpile unexpected gained +0.31 mmb to 224.87 mmb while distillate stockpile dropped less than forecast. WTI crude oil price rallied to 83.76 ahead of the report as the dollar plunged.
