Weekly Fundamentals - Weak Employment Intensified QE Speculations

US non-farm payrolls surprised to the downside for a third month in July. Headline payrolls unexpectedly contracted -131K while the market had anticipated a modest drop of -75K. June's reading was revised to -221K from -125K. Private payrolls increased but just by +71K, half of what's need to match the growth in working age population. Unemployment rate stayed flat at 9.5%, compared with consensus of 9.6%. Still, there's high chance for the jobless rate to reach 10% later in the year unless employment rises by 150K per month.
