Resurgence of Bank Default Risks Put Confidence in Question
European bourses grinded lower after opening lower that Friday's closes as a report saying that EU's stress test for banks might have understated risks of holding government debts in the Eurozone. The euro slid against the dollar to 1.274, the lowest level in 4 days, amid default worries. In the commodity sector, crude oil extended the drop and broke below 73 at one point.
