Import Liberalization is Gold-Positive
Retreats in commodity prices continue as the dollar rebounded against major currencies after warnings of currency war. Investors also remained cautious ahead of US' employment report. Gold weakened further below 1330 in European session after having the biggest one-day slump yesterday. Crude oil fell toward 80 as bourses declined. Stock markets in Asia and Europe fell amid worries over corporate earnings. The MSCI Asia Pacific Index slipped -0.7% while Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost -1%, the worst performer among indices in the Asia Pacific region.
