China’s Move to ‘Prudent’ Monetary Policies May Hurt Financial Markets

Commodities changed little in European session on Friday but appeared to lack momentum to rise higher. Asian bourses were mixed while European shares fluctuated ahead of US’ payrolls. Speculations for rate hikes in China also triggered profit-taking. The front-month contract for WTI crude oil dipped after grinding higher to 88.24 earlier in the day. Gold continued its consolidation below 1400.
