European bourses treaded water as economic indicator showed that manufacturing activities in China and the Eurozone contracted further in March. Stock markets gapped down in European morning on concerns that an economic slowdown in China would affect the global economic recovery. On the other hand, Japan reported better-than-expected trade data in February, addingmore signs to a rebound.
