Sentiment Mixed as Raise of Debt Ceiling Offset by Disappointing Economic Data
Financial markets mixed yesterday as the White House said that the President supports the GOP’s proposal to extend the debt ceiling for 4 months but was offset by weaker-than-expected US data. The BOJ’s monetary easing lifted sentiment but some investors were disappointed that the commencement period of the open-ended program is delayed to January 2014.
