Sentiment Weakened as ECB Remained Dovish. BOE Left Monetary Policy Unchanged

Financial market weakened amid resurgence of economic concerns. Dovish ECB statement also weighed on investments. Same as the ECB, the BOE also left its monetary policy unchanged. However, the central bank unusually released a lengthy statement, stressing that the MPC stands "ready to provide additional monetary stimulus if warranted". The Wall Street retreated although initial jobless claims fell last week.
