Overhang of Cyprus Bailout Overshadowed US' Budget Compromise

Weakened sentiment driven by ECB’s threat to Cyprus was carried to the US session. This was in spite of the House’s approval of a stopgap spending bill to keep US’ government agencies funded until the end of the fiscal year and better-than-expected economic data. Wall Street slipped with the DJIA and the S&P 500 losing -0.62% and -0.83% respectively.
