In the commodity sector, crude oil prices initially plunged but then recovered after the oil inventory report. The WTI contract for June delivery initially slumped to a 2-week low of 92.13, before settling at 94.3, up +0.1% while the Brent crude contract rebounded to 102.6 after slipping to as low as 101.2 earlier in the day.
