Asian shares firmed as China’s reform details raised hopes for further liberalization of the country’s economy. Elsewhere, financial markets were rather quiet. For instance, in the US, Wall Street was mixed with the DJIA adding +0.09% and the S&P 500 index losing -0.37%. Investors were awaiting more guidance from Fed officials on tapering or extension of QE measures.
