Gold dropped in European session although the US dollar fell against major currencies. Price was probably dampened by the weak China PMI data as this indicated further slowdown in this world’s largest gold buyer. Silver also declined in line with gold’s weakness with the benchmark Comex contract fluctuating around the lowest level in 3 months.
