Commodities firmed as USD weakened on widening of US trade deficit. The strength of crude oil was also driven by the decline in inventory, slowdown in Libyan output and higher selling price of Saudi’s exports. The industry-sponsored API estimated crude inventory fell -1.5 mmb in the week ended May 1.
