Commodities fell across the board over the part week. In our opinion, the key factor triggering the recent selloff the commodity market is the collapse of China’s stock market. The Chinese government has adopted numerous measures to rescue the sharp decline of equities since mid-June. Of which, the various restrictions against selling Chinese equities have made commodities a proxy hedge.
