Crude Slumped Although US Inventory Declined
Crude oil slumped amidst reports that a number of nations sought to restore links and sign new arrangements with Iran on oil investment. This overshadowed the higher-than-expected decline in US inventory. Refinery runs rose +229K bpd to a record high. The front-month contract for WTI crude oil fell -3.07% to 51.4 whilst the Brent crude contract dropped -2.50% to 57.05 at close.
